Interreg NPA Programme Manual

7. Duration

Youth projects can choose a duration of

·       6 months – SEE IT!

·       12 months – SHAPE IT!

·       18 months – MAKE IT WORK!

These durations correspond with the maximum budgets, types of activities, expectations and are also matching the level of experience of the partnership.

Project durations do not include the final reporting period. The final report must be submitted within three months after the project activities end.

Your questions

Can the project run shorter or longer than the chosen duration?

Your project should run for its full approved duration. If you finish all activities earlier, you can submit your final report sooner – but this rarely happens. You cannot extend your project beyond its end date.

Is the time for writing the final reporting included in the project duration?

No, the project duration of 6, 12, or 18 months is dedicated to running project activities and delivering the outputs and results as planned. After the project ends, the Lead Partner has 3 months to submit the final report.
